Before the Bloom: Sitting in the Fertile Void

Sit somewhere quiet. Let your hands rest open in your lap, palms facing up. Feel the weight of your body in the chair — the solid fact of being held.

Close your eyes. Notice the quality of the space around you: not empty, but full, the way a garden bed in early spring holds its breath before anything breaks the surface.

You are not waiting for something to happen. You are the dark soil before the first green shoot.

Stay here for five minutes. Let thoughts pass like slow clouds. Return, again and again, to the feeling of your open hands — receiving nothing, ready for everything.

You do not need to become anything in this moment; the fertile void is already enough.
