Born Again in Leo
Extended exhale activates the vagus nerve and lifts heart rate variability — a measurable signal that your nervous system is moving from threat to repair. In that settled state, the brain becomes more receptive to new patterning. What you practice here is not performance. It is installation.
Begin standing or seated. Roll your shoulders back and let them fall. Feel the weight of your body — through your feet, your seat, whatever surface is holding you. Turn your palms upward. This is not a pose. It is a signal: I am open.
Close your eyes.
Breathe in through your nose for a count of four. Hold gently at the top for two. Release slowly through your mouth for six. Let that exhale be unhurried. Almost lazy. The nervous system is listening.
Do this three times before you continue.
Now, on the next inhale, let a phrase arrive silently in your chest — not thought loudly, just present:
I am not hiding anymore.
Hold it for two counts. Breathe it out — not as performance, but as permission.
On the next inhale: My light is already here.
Hold. Release.
On the next inhale: I stop covering what was never meant to be covered.
Hold. Release.
Joe Dispenza spent years studying what happens when elevated emotion meets clear internal intention. The finding, repeated across his research: the body does not reliably distinguish between something vividly imagined and something physically experienced. The nervous system responds to both as real. This is the mechanism behind what you are doing right now — anchoring these affirmations inside the breath, inside the body's own rhythmic opening. The science confirms what the practice makes felt: new patterns get written at the intersection of elevated emotion and embodied repetition. You are not trying to feel something you don't feel. You are giving the body a chance to recognize something that was always true.
Let the breath find its natural pace now. No count. Just breath moving, carrying what has always been here.
The light you are reaching for is not earned. It is not given after sufficient effort or acceptable behavior. It is what you already are, temporarily obscured by years of careful management.
This practice is not about becoming brighter. It is about stopping the hiding.
Carry that small, stubborn flame into your morning — not as ambition, but as permission.
