Today's Teaching
Eckhart Tolle wrote: "Realize deeply that the present moment is all you have. Make the NOW the primary focus of your life."
This morning, you're not fixing the past or controlling the future. You're becoming fully alive right here — in this breath, this moment, this body.
Centering Breath (2 minutes)
Sit with your spine tall. Place one hand on your belly.
Breathe in slowly: Feel the belly expand.
Breathe out slowly: Feel the belly contract.
No agenda. No visualization. Just the raw sensation of being alive in this body, right now.
Notice: Where is your awareness? On your thoughts about the day ahead, or on the feeling of this breath?
Gently return to the breath. Again and again.
Visualization (3 minutes)
Close your eyes. Bring your awareness to your entire body.
Start at the crown of your head. Slowly scan down: forehead, eyes, jaw, neck, shoulders, chest, belly, hips, legs, feet.
As you scan, feel each part. Not thinking about it. Feeling it.
Tolle calls this "inner body awareness" — the doorway to presence.
Affirmation
Place both hands on your heart. Say aloud:
"I am here. I am present. I am the awareness beneath the noise."
Closing Intention
Today, catch yourself when you're lost in thought — worrying about what might happen, replaying what did happen.
When you notice, take one conscious breath.
That breath is the doorway back to Now.
