Taurus Embodiment: Feeling Your Intentions in the Body
When you breathe slowly into your body and rest your attention on sensation, your nervous system shifts toward parasympathetic dominance — heart rate variability rises, cortisol softens, and the brain's default mode network quiets enough for new patterns to take root. This is neuroplasticity through presence: the body becoming a more receptive medium for what you're calling in.
This morning, you're not thinking your way into alignment. You're feeling your way there. Taurus season invites you into the most direct gateway to manifestation there is — your own flesh, your own sensation, your own grounded presence in this moment. And this is the work: turning the whisper of your intention into something your body already knows.
Begin by sitting with your feet firmly on the ground, or if you're lying down, pressing your spine into the earth beneath you. Close your eyes and feel the weight of yourself here. Not think about it—feel it. There's gravity holding you. There's support. This is the first truth of Taurus, and it's available to you right now through direct sensation.
Now bring to mind the intention you planted at this New Moon. Don't analyze it. Let it arrive as an image, a feeling, a color, a texture. Then do this: place one hand on your heart and one hand on your belly. Breathe into both hands for three slow breaths, and as you do, let your intention land in your body as a felt sense. Where does it live? Does it warm your chest? Does it settle into your gut as knowing? Does it radiate from your hands? There is no right answer — only your answer, only what's true for you.
Ram Dass knew this — not as theory but as lived transmission. He taught that love and repetition are not strategies but the very substance of transformation: that you return to the same practice, the same breath, the same body, again and again, until the intention stops feeling like a wish and starts feeling like a fact. What the science calls neural consolidation, he called coming home. Every time you bring your attention back to the felt sense of your intention, you're doing both at once.
Joseph Murphy, the master of the subconscious mind, reminded us that "feeling is the secret." Your subconscious doesn't speak your language of logic and planning. It speaks sensation. It speaks emotion. It speaks the body's yes or no. When you feel your intention in your flesh — when you let it become real through touch and breath and gravity — you're speaking directly to the part of you that actually manifests.
Spend the next few minutes simply breathing and feeling. Let your body get accustomed to carrying this intention as already real. Love what you're calling in. Return to it each time the mind wanders. This is the repetition that turns intention into inevitability — not discipline for its own sake, but devotion in the body, again and again, until it is simply who you are.
By the time you open your eyes, something in you will have shifted. Not because you've thought better thoughts, but because your body now recognizes this future as home.
Today, I plant my intention not in my mind but in my bones, trusting that what I feel as real becomes real.
This practice takes 5 minutes. Do it before checking your phone.
