The Pull Before the Thought
The body processes incoming signals faster than conscious thought — interoceptive pathways carry information from the viscera to the brain's decision-making centers before language can form. When cardiac coherence rises, this signal strengthens: the heart actively primes neural orientation toward direction and draw before the mind can assemble a reason.
Sit comfortably and let your hands rest open in your lap. Take three slow breaths, feeling your chest rise and fall. Now ask yourself, without rushing toward an answer: What is pulling me right now?
Not what you should want. What actually draws — a texture, a direction, a sound, a person's face, a room you want to be in. Let the body answer first. Notice where you feel a subtle lean, a warmth, a brightening. Place one hand on that sensation. Stay with it. This pull is information. It points toward something your deeper self already knows.
