Today's Teaching
Eckhart Tolle wrote: "When you lose touch with inner stillness, you lose touch with yourself. When you lose touch with yourself, you lose yourself in the world."
This morning, you're not adding more action. You're returning to the stillness that creates everything.
Centering Breath (2 minutes)
Sit in complete stillness. Eyes closed or softly open.
For two minutes, do nothing but breathe and be aware of breathing.
No mantra. No visualization. No agenda.
Just the raw experience of being alive, breathing, present.
When thoughts come (they will), don't fight them. Just notice: "Thinking."
Then return to the breath.
This is not emptiness. This is aliveness beneath the noise.
Visualization (3 minutes)
Imagine your mind is like a still pond.
Thoughts are like ripples on the surface — they come and go, but they don't disturb the depths.
Your job isn't to stop the ripples. It's to rest in the deep water beneath them.
Bring your awareness below the surface. Feel the stillness there.
This is who you are when you're not caught in the current of thought.
Stay here.
Affirmation
Place one hand on your chest. Say quietly:
"I am the stillness beneath all movement. I am the silence beneath all noise. I am here."
Closing Intention
Today, practice pausing before reacting.
Before you respond to an email, a person, a situation — take one breath of stillness.
In that gap, you'll find clarity, wisdom, and power that reactive thinking can never access.
Stillness isn't passive. It's the most strategic move you can make.
