Reading Your Own Instrument
Place one hand on your chest and one on your belly. Before you check anything — your phone, the weather, the day ahead — pause here.
Take three slow breaths and notice: is your chest tight or loose? Is your belly holding or releasing? These are not symptoms to fix. They are data.
Now ask yourself a simple yes/no question about something real in your life — a decision, a relationship, a task. Don't answer it mentally. Just ask, then feel what shifts. Does the chest brace? Does the belly soften? Does something rise or drop? Your body answered before your mind could form a word.
