The Bridge You Already Are
When you slow your exhale and draw attention inward, the vagal nerve activates — your heart rate variability rises, the nervous system tips toward rest, and the body becomes a clearer conductor of what's moving through you.
Sit down somewhere still. Feel the weight of your body — the floor beneath your feet, the chair or cushion holding you. Press your palms flat against your thighs for a moment and notice the warmth of contact, skin on skin.
Breathe in slowly, and as you do, draw attention inward: to your chest, your ribcage, the quiet hum of your own presence. Then breathe out — and let that presence travel outward. Toward the window. Toward the street. Toward whoever is already moving through the world beyond your walls.
Neville Goddard understood this before the instruments caught it — that what you imagine from within, you meet without. The inner state doesn't stay contained. It moves. It shapes what finds you. You cannot give from a depth you haven't touched. So you come home first, here, in the breath, in the body — and then what overflows is real.
You are not separate from that world, and the world is not separate from you. You meet every moment as a bridge — the inside reaching out, the outside finding its way in.
The luminous heart does not hoard its light; it flows both directions.
