What the Body Kept

What the Body Kept

When the body integrates an experience — a peak of awareness, an emotional shift — the nervous system undergoes a slow consolidation process. Heart rate variability rises as the parasympathetic system moves to the foreground; the tissue that was braced begins to soften.

The full moon showed you something. Now your body is digesting it.

Place both feet flat on the floor — feel the pressure, steady and real. Bring one hand to your sternum. Sense the warmth beneath your palm, the small lift and fall of breath. Scan slowly downward: jaw, throat, chest, belly. Where does the tissue feel soft? Where does it hold? Don't fix anything. Just witness what your body has been quietly processing since the light peaked.

Something in you shifted this week. Your body already registered it before your mind named it. Eckhart Tolle called this the difference between the pain-body releasing and presence arriving — not a dramatic event, but a quiet settling, a point from which action finally becomes possible again.

Let that knowing settle — from thought into bone, from bone into floor.

You don't need to explain it yet. You only need to let it land.
